Eddie Eagle Gun Safety Program

In cooperation with Simpson Elementary School, the department began presenting the Eddie Eagle Gun Safety Program.  This program teaches children in pre-K through third grade four important steps to take if they find a gun.  The purpose of the Eddie Eagle Program isn't to teach whether guns are good or bad, but rather to promote the protection and safety of children. The program materials were fully funded through a grant received by the department.
