Public Transit Program

The Russell Ride, Russell’s local public transit system, offers safe and affordable transportation with handicap accessibility to any location within the city limits of Russell.

The transportation program is made possible thanks to a grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation and revenue from City of Russell property tax.

  • Post office
  • Senior Center and other facilities

Fares

$1 for each one-way ride. A card with 25 rides at a cost of $22.00 may be purchased from the transit bus driver or the City Clerk’s Office located at 133 West 8th Street.
